 Thermal shrinkage belt construction method

  1, lap method

  <1> Use spade knife, grinder, wire brush, emery cloth and other tools to polish the damaged part, and clean the construction surface with cotton yarn.

  <2> According to the size of the damaged surface, fill with sealing material repeatedly until the thickness is equal to the anticorrosion layer, and finish the surface smooth with heated sand hook after filling.

  <3> Cut a section of thermal shrinkage zone whose width is more than 100 mm larger than the damage part and length is more than 100 mm longer than the circumference of the steel pipe.

  <4> Heating covered steel pipe surface, with a small fire heating heat shrink one end of the inner hot melt adhesive, so that it is horizontally pasted on the surface of the steel pipe, flattened with a drum, slightly cooled after heating the other end of the inner hot melt adhesive, and then wrapped along the circumference, so that the initial end and the end overlap, overlapping width is not less than 50㎜.

  <5> Use a small flame to heat the overlapping part, and at the same time use a drum to flatten it, so that the lap is firm, and then heat according to the heat shrinkable heating method.

  2. Winding method

  <1>, <2> The same as heat contraction band lap method.

  <3> The surface of the covered steel pipe is heated, and the inner layer of hot melt adhesive at the end of the heat shrinkable tape is heated with a small fire to make it stick on the surface of the steel pipe. According to the winding way of the adhesive tape, the heating is done while winding.

  <4> Note that the end is firmly pasted. The covering width of the thermal shrinkage belt should not be less than 50mm from both sides of the damaged part, and the lap between the thermal shrinkage belt should not be less than 25mm
